We are located at 123 Bolt Street in Lowell, Massachusetts, housed in a state-of-the-art 33,000 square foot facility on four acres. Our headquarters has 6,000 square-feet of office space, a warehouse, inventory control center, full-time vehicle and equipment service, garage bays, car wash, full service gas and diesel station and a nursery/bulk materials center. Additionally, we have a Training Center where we require our employees to participate in ongoing safety training in various fields of our industry.

Our office is staffed with estimators, project managers, accounting, costing, and a business development team.

Greener Group is looking for an experienced Parts Manager.

Responsibilities

 Scheduling

Dispatch and schedule carriers and CDL drivers

Coordinate schedules for construction sites, accounting for delays, bad weather, or emergencies

 Purchasing

Fulfill requisition and purchase orders for materials, parts, supplies, inventory and equipment

Locate vendors for purchasing materials, parts, equipment and supplies

Determine terms of sales, and negotiate contracts and policies with suppliers

 Fleet and Equipment Maintenance

Assure that vehicle & equipment related functions and activities comply with established laws, codes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Determine an efficient maintenance strategy and schedule for vehicles and equipment

 Operations

Direct garage activities to assure company vehicles & equipment are maintained in safe and proper operating condition

Develop, implement and demonstrate policies to support operational efficiency

Assure adequate personnel, equipment and material levels to meet maintenance, service and repair requirements

Requirements

Experience with researching and purchasing vehicles, equipment and supplies

Prior experience related to the service, operation, maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment

Familiarity of applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures

Knowledge of inventory practices and procedures

Prior management experience in administration, supervision and training

Great oral and written communication skills

Interpersonal skills, using tact, patience and courtesy

Familiarity with computers and assigned software
