Working with both your NielsenIQ colleagues and spending time with clients, you will build partnerships to allow you to understand your client's needs and requirements.

We are currently seeking a Sales manager to join our Sales Team.

Responsibilities

About this job

A SalesManager is responsible for sales activities for assigned clients/opportunities. Sales activities may include identifying new opportunities, preparing materials for client sales meetings, conducting client sales meetings, managing next steps for opportunities, supporting closure of sales, timing of deals, and deployment & support of sales assets.

As a Sales / Business Development Manageryou will be responsible for:

  • Development of a Sales Plan for assigned clients/sales target
  • Achieving established sales target by managing disciplined action plan for opportunities you support
  • Updating opportunities to have current status of opportunity pipeline
  • Building supporting materials for client proposals, insightful analyses, and actionable recommendations to address key client business issues
  • Maintaining an understanding of client stakeholders and building client relationships with key players
  • Transferring client feedback and market desires to product teams in support of solution enhancements
  • Full understanding of NielsenIQ portfolio and inter-connectivity of different solutions & collaboration assets including, but not limited to, assortment studies, pricing elasticities & price/promotion modeling
  • Partner with clients to understand their strategic priorities and align on retailer-focused projects which drive their business results

Qualifications

A little bit about you

  • 3 or more yrs experience in a commercial role preferably in account management or consultative selling
  • Strong desire to work with clients and internal cross-functional teams
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Is comfortable holding appropriate negotiations with senior clients and knows what levers to use, engaging senior contacts where necessary
  • Experience working with data, preferably NielsenIQ products and services
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and willingness to learn about client business environment
  • Financial understanding (e.g., P&L, EBITDA) and how this relates to business success
  • Sales pipeline and closure experience
  • Capable of working as part of a team within a fast-paced, challenging, and demanding environment whilst maintaining high standards
