Job Description

We're looking for a talented and driven Facilities Managerwith a passion for Engineering and Hard Services in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industry, tojoin Sodexo and workacross our clients' nationalportfolio of sites.

Reporting to the National Account Manager, this role willdeploy, implement and coordinate Engineering and Hard Services activities and provide consultancy services, expertise and support to the client to streamline, standardize and simplify operational activity, and benefit from scale.

The incumbent will ensure that core processes andprocedures are imbedded and sustained as part of the service delivery model and contribute to an outstanding safety performance through the demonstration and cultivation of a zero accident mindset.

The responsibilities of this key leadership position include:

  • Day to day management of the client account including the provision of FM services across the portfolio.
  • Embedding a strategic approach to the management of client assets to maximise asset availability, reliability and lifespan.
  • Utilisation of trend data to proactively recommend asset based solutions to improve cost and/or operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring proactive and timely communications regarding FM services to all internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Sodexo and client management teams to ensure that all GxP requirements are in place and being adhered to.
  • Budget management and reporting
  • OHS responsibility with a focus on Zero Harm across all service lines
  • Strategic Asset Management and lifecycle governance on capital programming
  • Forecasting and tracking ofkey asset and performance metrics
  • Budget management and reporting, managing cost inflation; identifying and ensuring appropriate measures are in place
  • Delivering efficiency through leveraging what already exists, avoiding duplication at client sites.
  • Leadership, management and mentoring of a small team of geographically dispersed Facilities Managers and Coordinators.

Who are we looking for?

We're lookin for someone with aproven track record in the management and delivery of Engineering and Hard services in a pharmaceutical and/ or medical devices environment.

You will possesexcellent presentation and communication skills and have apassion for deliveringbrilliantcustomer service.

You will pride yourself on your service delivery and ability to ensure that the client is delighted with the services provided while working within a safe and efficient working environment.

Outside of this, the successful candidate will also need to display the following qualities:

  • Demonstrated experience in an Engineering and Hard Services Facilities Management position ideally within the pharmaceuticals and/ or medical devices industry.
  • A thorough and demonstrated knowledge of GxP requirements pertaining to the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.
  • Competence across WHS, QA and ideally environmental legislation and systems
  • Relevant engineering or trade qualifications.
  • An ability to lead small, high performing teams and to work as part of a larger performance focused team.
