Leisure, Lifestyle & Wellness Hub Coordinator

Catholic Healthcare has a new & exciting opportunity for to combine your passion for wellness – Mind, Body & Soul with your organisational, customer service and administrative skills.

Reporting to the Health and Wellness Business Manager, you will be responsible for promoting, coordinating and facilitating a friendly, vibrant environment where seniors living in the community will come to participate in programs to improve their overall health, wellbeing and quality of life.

Your days will include;

  • Be the face and ‘advocate’ of the Leisure and Wellness Club
  • Promote, administer and co-ordinate a range of health, wellness and social programs within the Leisure and Wellness Club for community living clients
  • Create and maintain a welcoming vibrant environment within the Leisure and Wellness Club, actively engaging members of the local community to participate in programs to improve their health and wellbeing
  • Ongoing coordination and management of the Club calendar of events
  • Coordination of staff and volunteers to facilitate the weekly programs within the Club
  • Registration and administration of clients into requested programs and ongoing management of client records

The successful candidate;

  • Qualifications in leisure and lifestyle, health promotion, therapeutic recreation, allied health, social science or similar
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of seniors living in the community
  • Enthusiasm for working with seniors, their families, carers and advocates to help identify and manage goals and plans to improve their health and wellbeing
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate programs, set timetables and develop program calendars
  • Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Client records system (e.g. Procura or Client Management Systems).
  • Experience in, or interest in working within aged care
  • Current Drivers Licence and registered and insured motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of Covid 19 Immunisation
