Job Description

  • Southern Highlands - Young, Harden, Boorowa
  • Hr Rate + Super + Km Reimburse (82cents per KM) + Paid Travel Time + NFP Salary Packaging + First Aid & Certificates in Aged Care provided at no cost to you
  • Rates from $24.83 - $34.81 per hour (Based on Quals & Exp)
  • Immediate start - PPE, uniform & work Smart Phone provided
  • Ongoing Permanent Part Time

Currently we’re looking for an experienced Community Workerto join our Southern Highlandsteam on a permanent part timebasis

. You will be required to working within the Hilltops Shire Local Government Area, includingYoung, Boorowa, Harden and surrounding areasand will be required to be available Monday to Friday for shifts between 8.00am - 5.00pm

As part of a dedicated team you will provide services thatinclude;

  • Personal care such as showering, grooming and toileting
  • Domestic assistance such as basic housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Respite
  • Transport to appointments and shopping etc

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Home Care Worker will be highly regarded
  • An Australian driver's licence and a reliable insured motor vehicle isessential
  • Reliability and compassion for the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Evidence of Covid & 2021Flu Vaccination
