- Serve as a primary IT Dev lead/hands on resource for medium-size projects to large-size projects
- Act as a DevOps engineer
- Build , Deploy and test cloud based micro services
- Monitor/Stabilize/Automate API services
- Design/Analyze/Implement production ready codebase
- Act as a tech dev lead, Work on day to day scrum tasks and help build Agile incremental MVPs and its delivery
- Mentor resources and create delivery roadmap and eventually be a SME. ingest Innovation, with constant 'improve the system' mindset , Design principles, Architecture expectations for portability and reusability
- Collaborate between various time zones, Globally.
- Engage in Infrastructure needs from Performance guarantee, DR and HA perspective.
- Implement and design, development, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method
- Cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps
- Including but not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery
- Building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Java SPRING Boot
- Grafana, microservice development and deployment
- Cloud services and framework knowledge
- Openshift, Kubernetees
- JUNIT, JMETER and other testing experience
- JSON knowledge
- Rally , SOAP UI, Postman
- KAFKA
- Mongo DB
- SPLUNK
- CI/CD Knowledge with integration to Jenkins
- Experience in coding for web services and/or web applications (Backend and Frontend)
- Experience in relational and NOSQL DB like MongoDB
- Java , Spring and Spring Cloud knowledge
- You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
- Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
