JOB TITLE: Wireless System Architect Location: Basking Ridge, NJ Contract: 12months MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- Expert in 5G and 4G end to end system operation and performance
- Able to demonstrate expertise with the UE and gNB stack operation and performance
- Strong experience in Pub-Sub data buses that supports large systems
- Experience in developing architecture for end-to-end wireless systems (4G and 5G)
- Experience of using 3GPP Standards for 4G and 5G to build a product
- Proven track record as an architect of complex systems
- Able to identify performance bottlenecks in a system and propose practical solutions
- Experience in modern software architecture
- Experience in computer architecture and requirement to execute high performance system using white box servers
- Experience with IP routing protocols, VLANs, L2 switching, and high speed Ethernet
- Able to understand complex problems and translating them into architectural requirement
- Excellent communication skills to present ideas and difficult concepts to wide range of audience
- Strong team player, able to accept feedback
- Able to lead a small team to achieve a common solution
- Experience with simulation concepts and using simulators
- Experience with Matlab or other simulation environment
- Cisco certification, Amazon Cloud Architect, or other relevant certificate is a plus
- Microsoft powerpoint, visio, excel
- Work with a cross-functional team to help implement the requirement for the real time wireless simulator
- Partner with internal teams and stack providers to help define a flexible architecture
- Analyze the data flow for the wireless data in the simulator to identify areas to improve the performance to achieve target goals
- Work on defining delay budget for various components of the simulator
- Work with the development team to define the APIs for the different components to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data as well as optimize system performance
- Assist in defining the components' functionality to achieve performance objectives and required capacity
