- support of provider selection, engagement, implementation and transition
- accountability for ongoing financial, performance, and change management including reporting and continuous improvement
- Approximately Ten years of relevant and diverse technology services and operations, life sciences, informatics or other major industry experience is required
- Experience managing global technology teams and operational budgets
- Experience in the structure, development, migration and management of cloud based IT services is required
- Experience in the support of Global Research & Development systems and users, including a working knowledge of R&D business processes is preferred
- Experience in global business and supplier relationship management is required
- Experience building and supporting global, enterprise grade technology services including development and structuring of third party service agreements is required
- Experience managing multiple vendors and service providers under a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) model is preferred
- Experience with Service Management, BI, LMS, Document Management and Regulatory tools, providers, services and systems is preferred
- Proven ability to work in a global and highly matrixed environment is preferred
- Familiarity with and understanding of key industry best practices as well as legislative, regulatory and industry artifacts/frameworks such as the following is preferred:
- DIA, ITSM/ITIL, NIST, ISO, SANS, COBIT, CERT
