Here are the details:

Position: Data Scientist Location: Basking Ridge, NJ (Remote to start) Rate: Negotiable Duration: 6-month contract with potential for conversion

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Perform data analyses that yield insights and drive actions on opportunities
  • Develop advanced analytical models and computational solutions using large-scale data manipulation and transformation, statistical analysis, machine learning, visualization, mathematical optimization and related advanced analytical techniques
  • Develop and deliver high performance Machine Learning models using Python, Pyspark and other relevant data science techniques, algorithms, and tool
  • Understand data and build reproducible analysis and modeling asset
  • Communicate model findings in a clear and cohesive manner

Must Haves:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics / Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, Data Science, Computer Science (on Data Mining or Information Systems Management)
  • Experience with data warehousing and SQL
  • Experience with Python and PySpark
  • Experience automating data with Tableau to tell an analytical story
  • 0-5 years of relevant work experience
