Job Title: QA Mobile Engineer - Financial Services - Berkeley Heights, NJ

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

Employment type: 3 months, Contract-to-HireW2 ONLY

Job Description: This position plays a core role in the software delivery process for the Product team. The purpose of this position is to implement a test automation strategy and governance framework and to oversee the execution and maintenance of a unified test automation platform and related tools for Fiserv. The secondary purpose of this position is to provide subject matter expertise and support for either API or Mobile performance testing, security testing, and other non-functional test activities. The Test Engineer also plays a role in supporting manual test activities required to ensure all releases reaches the quality standard required by the company. You will be required to respond to occasional requests for additional off-hour work in the event of an emergency client incident or critical business needs of wider QA team through mentoring and guidance.

Qualifications:

3 - 4 years practical knowledge in test automation framework and tools in Native iOS and Android (Espresso and XCTest).
3 - 4 years experience in software testing preferably strong background in Native iOS and Android applications
3 - 4 years experience working in Agile/Scrum environment using Rapid software testing techniques
Proficiency in API testing principles and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler, Charles or similar
Advanced testing or Agile certifications eg. ISTQB, CSM
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Sciences.
An understanding of software development and QA in an agile SDLC, and exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts.
Ability to read code: Looking only for experience with automation experience and not manual
iOS and Android automation testing within the past 3 years

Preferred:

Experience in leadership/mentoring role recommended
Experience in building automation framework a plus
