It is critical to continue driving value for our company, our customers, and our patients.As we accelerate the transformation of the Manufacturing IT operating model, there is a need to better align our work to what will provide the most value to our business partners. This includes establishing a systematic approach for how we operate the Manufacturing IT business to achieve best-in-class results, linked closely to the Toyota Production System methods used by the Manufacturing division.The Continuous Improvement Lead will be part of an Operational Excellence team that will build a mindset of continuous improvement within the Manufacturing IT organization. This includes making problems visible and solving them the first time, improving process stability and finding ways to the use existing IT capabilities to optimize manufacturing value streams. The role will provide the opportunity to get a broad understanding of our manufacturing processes as you could be working on projects that support supply chain, operations, laboratory testing, logistics or complianceKey responsibilities include:Partner with the Manufacturing IT leadership teams to grow their capabilities through continuous improvement

Identify opportunities for improvement and complete project scoping

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and/or Six Sigma methods to address process problems by identifying and implementing effective solutions

Facilitate problem solving sessions to identify root cause and effective corrective/preventive actions, lead teams to implement those actions and verify action effectiveness

Serve as a champion and change agent for the adoption of processes, tools, methods and best practices to achieve a best in class IT operations model in support of manufacturing

Education :Bachelor’s Degree required with a preference for Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

Qualifications :3 + years of utilizing Six Sigma, Lean or Toyota Production System methods in manufacturing environment with strong preference for pharmaceutical industry experience

3+ years of experience with translating stakeholder needs into requirements for solutions or processes that add value to the business

3 + years of Project Management experience with the ability to manage multiple small/medium projects at the same time

Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Teams), Sharepoint and Visio

Fluent in English, in both oral and written communication

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams and work independently

Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders across geographies

Proven ability to use problem solving techniques to implement process improvements

Understands cross-cultural business practices; demonstrates a sensitivity and awareness to other people and culture. Possess ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural settings

Possess strong negotiation skills; demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate

Preferred Skills :Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Laboratory Information Systems, Document Management Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (Werum PAS-X), and Data Historians (OSISoft PI) is a plus.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification, Black Belt preferred
