Infrastructure Engineer

The position will pay an annual base salary of $90K-$110K plus a performance-based bonus and excellent benefits package. Client is currently on a staggered in-office schedule (3 days in-office per week). Client seeking someone with core skills in Exchange, Active Directory, VMware, and Cloud (specifically O365).Client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer whose primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and maintain the enterprise compute infrastructure that supports our business platforms. The Engineer will help drive the strategic initiatives, tactical activities, and the “Cloud First” direction of client while working to continuously improve and meet the evolving needs of our business community.ResponsibilitiesThe Infrastructure Engineer will develop and deploy the technologies and platforms needed to support our enterprise compute environment.Work with peers and architects to carry out the strategic plan for cloud first strategy.Establish and support technical policies and procedures to ensure all systems within the environment function seamlesslyMaintain Level 3 support for the virtual and physical Infrastructure hardware, operating system and virtual machines on servers that support our business requirementsBe responsible for analysis, recommendation of upgrades, design, changes, implementation and maintenance of software.Engaging in capacity planning and performance management exercises to ensure adequate system resources.Participate in a change control process for all planned application and technical activities.Coordinates cross-functional projects and enterprise-wide programs to insure compliance with shared infrastructure strategies.Support the efforts for cross-training and collaboration, as well as mentoring other less-experienced members aiding in the automation and cloud directions.Aid in the communication and collaboration with the Project Management teams, Architecture, and Infrastructure Coordinators on project progress, issues, and solutions.Qualifications5 - 7 years of Windows technologies, including the Automated provisioning and management of these environmentsExtensive and proven knowledge of Microsoft Technologies: Server 2012/2016/2019, Exchange 2013/2016/2019 & Exchange Online, Office365, AzureAD, Active Directory, Certificate Authority / PKI.Strong background with Group Policy, IIS, Active DirectoryExperience with VMWare vRealize and Horizon ViewExperience in the vSphere hypervisor platformStrong Experience with automation and scripting languagesExperience with configuration management toolsetsExperience with supporting and managing virtualize Hybrid cloud modelsExcellent organizational and time management skills.Experience with DevOps practice and automation toolsets
