Senior Java Developer

The position will pay an annual base salary of $130K-$165K plus a performance-based bonus and AWESOME BENEFITS Position is 3 days in-office per week/2 remote. Seeking local candidates!Seeking Senior Java Developer with back-end development experience Java, J2EE, and various others. Seeking someone with a willingness to learn WorkFusion (Robotic Process Automation). Candidate will actively participate in interacting with our business stakeholders and designing, developing and implementing automation solutions while collaborating with technical architects to ensure solutions fit within established application development standards and conventions. This experienced professional will also help develop / mentor more junior members of the team. Provides highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.Responsibilities:Acts as an expert technical consulting resource to development staff in all phases of the application development. Reviews specs, design and code and recommends changes to development team members to align with approved, application development frameworkPerforms analysis, systems design, coding and/or integrates purchased solutions. Documents, tests, implements and provides on-going support for applications.Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development life cycle. May involve project manager or other leadership role crossing IT systems, applications, and/or infrastructure teams.Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solutions for the systems design. Participates in setting technical direction in conjunction with the architecture, data base, and infrastructure groups. Provides highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies which assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.Migrates legacy, dated application technologies to current technologies.Continually looks for opportunities to improve developer productivity and the overall change management process.Recommends, and provides guidance, in the areas of application performance and tuningWorks closely with customers to identify and specify complex requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, tools, etc.Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in application development (Java, J2EE).Java experience required; back-end development required.Ability to easily move between multiple projects at any given time.Requires excellent communication skills, analytic ability, strong judgment and the ability to work directly with customers and IT management and staff.Preferred – someone with a desire to learn RPA workflow process and design.Strong interpersonal communication skills.College degree Computer Science, or other related field preferred.
