Senior Financial Analyst

Description We are in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to assist our client in Bridgewater, NJ. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a crucial link between the Director of Finance and the Developmental Team in a nonprofit hospital and school for individuals with medically complicated developmental disabilities. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and is open to fully remote candidates. Prior experience in the nonprofit industry is required. Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is preferred.Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between the Director of Finance and the Developmental Team, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation. Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data effectively. Handle accounting functions related to nonprofit and grant accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Utilize tools such as Power Plan and Blackbaud for financial planning and management. Conduct budget processes, including planning, monitoring, and reporting. Prepare trial balances and ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate. Respond to inquiries related to financial data and provide necessary assistance.
