Piper Companies is looking for a Network Engineer for one of the top hospitals in the USA to add to their growing IT Team that's located in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:- Design, implement, and manage Cisco 3750X, 3850, 9300, and 9500 Catalyst Switches
- Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing issues at a Junior-to-Mid-level Senior Network Engineer experience level.
- End of life replacement. Cisco upgrade
- 5+ years of Network Engineering experience.
- Experienced with Layer 2 spanning tree protocols PVST and RPVST+.
- Experienced with Layer 3 routing protocols EIGRP running on Cisco Catalyst switches and ASR/ISR routers.
- Exposure to Layer 3 BGP routing protocol a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, (implementations, troubleshooting) issues daily.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio.
- Capable of using documentation skills arising from implementation & troubleshooting activities.
- Required skills: Layer 2 & Layer 3, BGP, Cisco.
- Bonus skill(s): Wireless
- $50-$60/hr
- Onsite location required
- Primary work hrs: 8AM - 5PM - (potential work hours outside given hours)
