The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, has been chosen to work with an industry leader in Philly on their quest for a talented Lead Systems Administrator. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of a Windows Server environment. You will get to mentor more junior Admins, assist with IT projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
If you are a self-motivated, proactive administrator looking for a lead role, this is a fit for you! Responsibilities- Design, install and configure servers and applications.
- Support Microsoft and VMware technologies.
- Oversee/implement aspects such as: Windows server troubleshooting, server patching, SCCM/SCOM, VMWare, server security hardening, Group Policy design and configuration, Active Directory, PowerShell LAN/WAN networking.
- Maintain documentation for inventory and asset configurations.
- Assist with vendor evaluation.
- Train team members on existing and new technologies.
- Develop and implement project plans, and risk assessments.
- 5+ years Systems Administration in a large enterprise environment.
- Very strong VMWare experience.
- Experience supporting physical and virtual server environments, and related network LAN/Wan configurations.
