Description Robert Half is looking to staff a Payroll HR Manager with our well-respected client! This Payroll HR Manager will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department and will be responsible for work on tax-related tasks, such as W2 forms, preparing reports and updating policies. If you are a dynamic Payroll HR Manager with excellent communication, proven leadership, and are deadline driven, this may be the role for you.Responsibilities:

Oversee payroll processing from start to finish, including the calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits.

Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing on a regular basis.

Manage and reconcile payroll discrepancies, addressing and resolving any issues promptly.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax laws and wage and hour regulations.

Assist with preparation and filing of required payroll reports and tax documents.

Conduct regular audits of payroll data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and update employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.

Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401k retirement plans, and other insurances offered.

Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits-related inquiries.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations.

Utilize payroll software and systems effectively, recommending upgrades or changes as needed.

Requirements

The ideal Payroll HR Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.Other requirements for the Payroll HR Manager position include and are not limited to:

2+ years’ experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll software and systems.

Working knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

Must possess strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.

Attention to detail is crucial for success.

Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
