Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect scrap metal cargo at the time of loading and smoothly coordinate the loading process
Perform in-process or final inspection on product using handheld or precision measuring equipment (if needed) to determine if product meets quality/ customer specifications
Accurate identification of material to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines
Interact with various levels of corporate personnel, vendors/suppliers, and employees to resolve problems, and ensure steady delivery of products purchased or sold
Candidate is required to wear all required PPE while inspecting the cargo in the suppliers facility
Qualification:
Minimum High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate degree is preferred
Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be local and live within designated procurement territory (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware) and willing to travel extensively on road in the procurement territory
Must be willing to work in different outdoor/weather conditions varying from hot to cold
