We are seeking an enthusiastic and Pastry/Baker Chef to join our team at Khyber Coffee and Teahouse, a South Asian-inspired coffee shop with a strong focus on bringing together authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and innovative recipes. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking, and the ability to create unique, high-quality baked goods that elevate our current menu and introduce exciting new items.
Key Responsibilities:
Baking and Menu Development:
Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including but not limited to: traditional South Asian sweets , cakes, cookies, and pastries that complement our coffee offerings.
Innovate new menu items inspired by South Asian flavors, such as cardamom, saffron, rosewater, and pistachio, that reflect current food trends while staying true to cultural roots.
Elevate the current baked goods menu by incorporating seasonal ingredients and special promotions.
Regularly test and adjust recipes for taste, presentation, and consistency.
