We are looking for a competent Maintenance Technician to manage 130 apartments in 2 apartment complexes. An excellent technician must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They must have basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. The goals are to maintain the facility in excellent and safe condition, handle all tenant work orders, and turn apartments.
Responsibilities:
Inspect facilities regularly to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs, or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, etc.)
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulation
Skills:
Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulation
High school diploma: Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
