Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Operator (SRO) will work in a warehouse, where products are stored on pallets, stacked on housing racks. The environments are fast moving, industrial spaces. Candidates will work full-time we currently have three shift available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Shipping & Receiving Operator (SRO) is responsible for operating a machine to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform fill orders and check the accuracy of other orders. As well, operators will be responsible to ensure the working order of their forklifts prior to use.
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Heavy Duty Truck Components and Specifications
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Proven pro-active team player
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail
Can operate all warehouse equipment at high proficiency level. Highly proficient user of RF Scanner. Can trouble shoot in RF Scanner modules.
Compensation: 1st Shift ($19) 2nd Shift ($19.5) 3rd Shift ($20)
To be success SRO operators must have a strong spatial awareness a dedication to workplace safety and the ability to organize and sort with detail. Strong communication and technical skills are highly valuable.
