Machinist / Parts Maker – able to set-up and operate CNC mills (Haas Milling Machines VF-2 ) and non-CNC lathes to make parts for our machinery product line (not a job shop) in our shop located in Wall, NJ.
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Good pay, benefits and PTO. Low pressure work environment.
Ideal candidates will be able to take a part from raw stock to completion.
Materials cut are mostly aluminum & delrin bar and rod, and stainless shafting.
Lot sizes from 1 to 100.
DUTIES:
Set up and operate Haas Milling Machines VF-2 and non-CNC lathes.
Perform machine and tool offsets using Renishaw Spindle Probe and Tool Setter.
Select proper tools for each job.
Read and Interpret drawings.
Inspect parts using measuring instruments.
Operate manual milling machine, manual lathe, bandsaws and sanders.
Deburr parts.
Keep work area clean and organized.
REQUIREMENTS:
5 or more years of experience desired.
Ability to produce high quality parts with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
On-time, self-motivated, high personal quality standards, work well with others.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Solid and recent work history.
