Position Overview:
The Warehouse Shift Lead (Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM) is responsible for leading all warehouse activities during their assigned shift, including pallet production, repair, inventory flow, and employee performance. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations for pallet sorting, building, and repair
Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse staff
Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved
Monitor inventory movement, material usage, and finished pallet output
Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Complete required shift reports and documentation
Collaborate with supervisors and management to optimize workflow
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or pallet industry experience required
Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
Understanding of pallet production, repair, or lumber handling a plus
Ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an industrial setting
Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory tracking
