Merola Tile is seeking a highly motivated on-site Junior Systems Administrator to join our growing company. If you want to become part of a successful, fun, amazing company, you have come to the right place!

The primary role of this team member is to assist in maintaining the computer systems, ensuring that they run smoothly, as well as providing technical support and advice to end users and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Assisting in monitor and enhance the integrations between software systems.

Assisting in the Installation and configure computer hardware and software.

Facilitate resolutions to all user questions and issues related to various systems.

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve computer software and hardware faults.

Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and systems.

Responsible for relationship management of our system vendors.

Create, change, and delete user accounts as requested.

Evaluate technologies and make recommendations for improvement.

Repair technical equipment and replace parts as needed.

Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades.

Check computer equipment for electrical safety.

Responsible for the oversight of the following systems: time clock, fire alarm, burg system, phones, CCTV surveillance, and all business software (including ERP, EDI, WMS, and our company website)

Perform tasks surrounding Project Management, EDI, and Mapping.

Perform other assigned duties as necessary and required.

We are looking for a patient, passionate, and motivated individual to join our close-knit team of dedicated professionals. Our environment consists of approximately 90 users, with about 10 servers. The ideal candidate must strive for success in a demanding, fast-paced, and growing environment. Someone who has the ability to multitask and achieve time-sensitive deadlines.

Experience/Knowledge:

Knowledge of Sage 300 a plus

Server rack experience

A+ Certification required

Exceptional technical skills

Networking and cabling experience

Active directory

SQL experience preferred

IP or PBX phone experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 lbs. several times during the shift.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.

Ability to perform basic math functions.

Must be able to read and write in English.

Frequently work in environment with extreme temperatures. Our warehouse is not climate-controlled. This includes sometimes being exposed to the outdoor environment.
