We are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to join our Monmouth Junction, NJ location. Hermann offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and 401k matching program.
The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible to acquire and grow revenue through sales for Hermann Services. The responsibilities will include securing new business by promoting our solutions and services, via phone or in person, thus penetrating the market for continued growth and expansion. The Regional Business Development Manager must develop clients through cold calls, leads and appointments, effective sales presentations along with the ability to close accounts. This individual will be accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives, monthly/annual revenue quotas, maintaining existing clients and generating new revenue. Compensation includes salary and commissions.
Responsibilities:
Partner with clients through a strategic and consultative sales approach comprehending their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution
Establish and maintain excellent client relationships at all levels; perform as liaison between sales support and clients in order to provide superior service and solutions
Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional polished demeanor and business maturity
Manage clear communications with clients and prospective clients regarding specific needs analysis
Manage sales funnel to analyze and control pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned budget
Manage accurate records on daily activities and results
Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies and competition. Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement
Travel required as necessary
Requirements:
BS/BA preferred
3-5 years of successful sales experience. Work experience and a network of contacts
Effective oral and written communication skills necessary in product presentations
Strong organizational skills
Highly seasoned knowledge of the Accounts Receivable/Collection Industry (Preferred)
Strong closing techniques
Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge. Transportation/Warehouse Software knowledge is a plus
