Description
As a Web Content Programmer (Hybrid), you will create site content, functionality, and features that lead to a great customer experience while maximizing conversion rates, revenue and profit on the company's e-commerce website. You will work closely with the E-Commerce Manager to translate website merchandising and marketing goals into actionable tests and tasks. As priorities shift, you must be able to react quickly to determine daily activities, support business needs, and adjust tactics while delivering on merchandising strategies. This role requires a high-energy individual who is deadline driven and has analytical skills.Responsibilities:- Program promotional site content, leveraging image mapping to achieve the desired experience
- Execute price changes, sales and promotions including site experience and some light copywriting for the desktop and mobile platforms (phone and tablet)
- Create reports and recommendations for online campaigns to achieve strategic and operational business goals
- Participate in brainstorming and idea creation on what to test and how to optimize our digital marketing
- Develop standard, recurring reports to communicate the results of tests
- Scrutinize all site enhancements to ensure page speed and site performance are protected
- Revise schedule according to work request specifications and established priorities
- Conduct patterning to document current feature standards, trends and shifts in common user behavior
- Proactively resolve problems and roadblocks in order to keep workflow on schedule and escalate higher level conflicts to manager for resolution
- Manage the setup and execution A/B/multivariate tests and other experiments across our digital marketing activities
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 1+ years of experience in a directly related position in digital marketing / web analytics, preferably in the retail or fashion industry
- Proven work experience as Web programmer or developer
- Experience in website content management including image mapping, HTML, CSS, JavaScript ()
- Knowledge of and experienced with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and related techniques
- Attention to detail
- Project management skills within a fast-paced work environment
- An ability to communicate and work in a team
- Ability to support the translation of marketing strategies into compelling, easy to use, and engaging promotions and features
- Experience with personalization tools such as Maxymizer,, VWO, Monetate, or similar tools
- Experience with Web Analytics packages such as Google Analytics or other analytics packages
- Experience with search tools such as Endeca,Lucidworks or other search platforms
- Experience with Promotions/Cart management tools such as Sitecore, Commerce Server or other promotions engines
