Location: Edison, NJ Salary: $75000 - 100000 Description: Project / Sales Engineer

Our customer base includes original-equipment-manufacturers in the medical, consumer products, automotive and other industries. Over the past 5 years, we have experienced rapid growth. We are seeking self-starters who can work independently and will be rewarded for new customer accounts and margin growth. Primary Responsibilities: • Development of new engineering projects through both new customer acquisition and growth in existing sales accounts. • Engineering feasibility and APQP of projects • Work with engineering and design teams to ensure product and tooling quality is up to applicable standards • Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained. Must have abilities to do material take-off from blueprints. • Prospecting and follow-up activities related to new customers and markets • Interface directly with customers to coordinate the resolution of all issues and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. • Work directly with external sales teams to meet customer needs and secure new business • Communicate sales order changes with the related departments Skills/Specifications: • Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree preferred • Technical competencies (drawing/blueprints reading) • Experience/Understanding of manufacturing concepts, castings or forgings preferred • Energetic self-starter able to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills • Proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, ExcelContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
