Description
This contractor position is in support of the FAA's Aviation Weather Office requirement to conduct work for the development of new and enhanced aviation weather capabilities and systems, the sustainment and transition of legacy National Airspace System (NAS) subsystems, and other weather efforts Expertise and Functions- Provide overall tracking, identification, development, and analysis of project activities and milestones
- Report and coordinate schedules within the organization and be able to brief management on project status, potential problems, alternative resolutions and their impact on project schedules and milestones
- Other duties as assigned
- Education/Training (both required and desired):
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Demonstrable expertise with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- FAA program experience highly desired
- Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
