Job Description
Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Business Analyst with Order Management experience to drive the collation, creation and maintenance of various types of business and user documentation. This individual will work with the Business, IT and functional partners and senior leads to gain and analyze business requirements and build crucial business documents, including but not limited to business requirements documents, user stories, process flow documentation, presentations, user documentation, etc
. We expect this person to assist with project management related tasks, such as meeting management, project plans/tracker maintenance, help with crafting status updates. If so, this is your chance!Job responsibilities:- You will manage the Identification, analysis, and thorough documentation the current- and future-state business processes that require enhancements
- You will design and develop requirements for waterfall or agile projects, where assigned responsibilities include writing basic functional specifications by a set deadlines , participating in daily scrum sessions and writing story cards, or capturing and composing other on-demand documentation with short turnaround time
- You will develop, improve and oversee the review and validation of written specifications with the subject matter experts, development team members, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time completion with all necessary signoffs
- You will provide status reports to management on an ongoing basis, stating progress and any issues that impede it
- You will craft & implement solutions to address any issues
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years financial/brokerage services experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working on large scale software implementation projects is a plus
- B.A/B.S degree required
- Product Management / Business Analysis experience in brokerage or IT environment necessary, specifically in the Order Management space
- Experience with flexible business rules engines is a plus
- A resourceful self-starter who is comfortable interacting and coordinating with numerous internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent business and technical writing skills are a must
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage time appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt accordingly
