Hiring Senior System Analyst/ Engineer - Fulltime Permanent with Banking Client

We're hiring Senior System Analyst/ Engineer to be part of our Client's digital banking (Retail & Commercial) team.Hired employee will be responsible to implement, test, train, troubleshoot, and maintain applications as well as act as liaison between the financial institution, application vendors, internal departments, and end users.

Work Location: Fair Lawn, NJ (Onsite few days a week; 5 days' onsite after things return to normalcy).

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Excellent understanding of retail banking and electronic banking operations, procedures, related data processing concepts, and service delivery development. Ability to clearly document business & system requirement, procedure and workflows.
  • Proficient knowledge of Digital Banking/FinTech tools (like Fiserv, NCR, Jack Henry, etc.)
  • Comfortable with HTML/ Javascript and scripting languages (Python, Shell) to customize and support applications.
  • Maintain understanding of complementary technologies and their potential benefits for the institution and its clients. In partnership with business leadership, collaborate to identify, define, and implement process and user experience improvements, leveraging business applications and related technologies.
  • Responsible for request, incident, problem, and change management processes for administered business applications including clear communications with end user and management.
  • Lead scheduling, testing and implementation of upgrades and releases to administered business applications. Prepare release summaries for end users (as needed). Coordinate user testing effort. Obtain end user sign-off.
To be successful in this role, hired engineer needs to have application development/ support background and recent digital banking domain expertise. This role requires 70% digital domain expertise & 30% technical knowledge for day to day work.
