Technical Writer w/Agile, Jira or Rally; prefer local to North JerseyWe are looking for an experienced technical writer/technical analyst to join a growing team that is working on an exciting initiative to automate client benefit setup. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for requirement analysis, technical documentation and communicating the technical requirements to the configuration team. You will work closely with our stakeholders to gather, translate and communicate requirements. As an ideal candidate, you are a highly motivated, quick learner with a keen eye for detail and proven experience in a technical field.Responsibilities:
- Obtain in-depth knowledge of current client benefit setup and automation capabilities.
- Be at the table with the client and business product owner (BPO) for automation capability, scope and timeline discussions.
- Analyze and understand business requirements to produce high quality technical requirements for each client specific solution, based on information from BPOs, benefit operations and the configuration team and client intent documents.
- Communicate technical requirements to the configuration team and provide clarifications.
- Serve as a liaison between benefit operations and the configuration team during development and testing.
- Write, prioritize, and manage user stories for the configuration team.
- 1-3 years' experience as an effective technical writer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Previous success in a technical environment.
- Existing PBM knowledge preferred.
- Proven ability to analyze, understand and explain complex topics.
- Detail oriented with ability to translate requirements precisely to minimize rework.
- Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritization.
- Experience with Agile and Jira (or similar project management software) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or above in relevant technical field.
