Job Description

The role of the Client Service & Specimen Collectoris critical to the success of our relationship testing in local markets. The Client Service & Specimen Collector serves as a single person location responsible for in person support of our clients, collecting buccal (cheek) swab DNA samples, preparing paperwork, arranging payment, and providing customer service via phone and email. This position reports to the Satellite Office Supervisor and is essential to growing our presence in the local market, ensuring the community is aware of the services offered. This individual will perform basic DNA collections locally and forward the sample to DDC headquarters in Ohio for testing. This individual will run the day-to-day operations of the office independently.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to explain and promote DDC’s paternity and relationship testing along with all other products professionally
  • Quickly understand and analyze customer needs, listen actively
  • Ability to cope with difficult customer situations
  • Assist clients face-to-face and over the phone
  • Reacts to opportunities taking the initiative to promote the office in new and innovative ways
  • Adhere to compliance regulations and policies
  • Stays organized and keeps detailed notes of sales touches both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience in call center or customer service
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred
  • Phlebotomy a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate and uphold the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality
