RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a well-known entertainment firm located in New York that is actively searching for a Web Developer (C#, JavaScript). This company has been in the business for many years and is considered one of the most prestigious firms. This role will be working Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with additional hours as required.

Functions/Responsibilities to include, but not be limited to: The Web Developer is a mid-level position that is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, supporting, documenting, and testing software for the firm's enterprise systems, intranet/internet applications, frameworks, and other supporting applications Under minimal supervision, proactively maintains and advances the software that is under their responsibility; Keeps management and other key stakeholders aware of the status of their responsibilities Interacts with clients, business analysts, quality assurance team members, and other IT staff members to analyze, design, and implement user specifications The Web Developer analyzes, maintains, designs, modifies, codes, supports, and tests new and existing software applications Use logic and technical knowledge to design and build complex applications to meet user requirement/specifications Provides support to analyze and resolve complex problems that arise Researches the causes and solutions of software defects Participates in meetings and openly discusses software development issues Creates and edits documentation to describe program operation and function The Web Developer serves as an evaluator/reviewer of projects/applications as required

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of formal education and computer training that demonstrates a good knowledge of computer technology needed for the position 2-3 years of experience with increasing responsibility in a software development environment Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and other web technologies Custom Web Components experience TypeScript/React or similar technologies experience CSS, Bootstrap/Material experience C, C#, and other .NET technologies experience Use of unit frameworks such as MSTest or NUnit Visual Studio experience Object-Oriented Design and structured programming experience Experience using APIs Experience with windows architecture and web architecture Experience writing secure, readable, and maintainable code Experience supporting and troubleshooting large software solutions Experience with database design, programming, and SQL Experience with software development lifecycle Experience working in an Agile environment Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint experience Communicate effectively with peers to accomplish software development goals Collaborate and deal positively with conflict Make effective and credible presentations Experience conducting research into project related issues and other products; Aptitude for problem solving
