Job Description

We are currently looking forcasual team members to join our busy, fast-paced and fun 1-day Distribution Centre team in Te Rapa, Hamilton.

Our team are constantly receiving huge volumes of goods, then processing and despatching them across the country. This busy role supports our warehouse operations and will offer you a variety of tasks, including:

• Order picking, sorting, wrapping and labelling appropriate pallets. Ensuring stock is ready for dispatch in a fast and efficient manner
• Dispatching stock; through use of Reach Truck, Bulk Picker, and Man Up Machine as required and authorised
• Health and safety;
  actively promoting safe work practises and ensuring a safe work environment is maintained

Our site operates Sunday to Friday, with morning and evening operations between the hours of 7am – 12am, and has various shifts available:

• 7am – 4pm
• 3pm – 12am
• 7am – 1pm
• 10am – 4pm
• 1pm – 7pm
• 4pm – 10pm
• 7pm – 12am

We are looking for flexible staff who are able to work between 16 to 42.5 hours each week.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role you will be someone who:

• Displays good problem solving and time management skills.
• Has strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Has the ability to use initiative and work independently.
• Distribution/Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Thisphysicallydemandingrole requires someone with a good degree of strength, that can keep up with our fast-paced environment.
