Our Top Fortune Client is actively looking for a Competitive Intelligence and Market Research Manager to join the Media Team. In this role, you will create an overall best-in-class strategy for gathering and using competitive intelligence to increase sales performance and create visibility and communication to the C-Suite for the largest company in the World. You will work with experts who have decades of experience in business-to-business technology and professional services market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and strategy. You will interact directly with stakeholders at all levels and in all functions. You will have direct impact on high-profile insights and influence decisions with high opportunity costs and long-term implications, including product development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy.

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. required, MBA or similar advanced degree with specialty in Strategy or Marketing preferred

3+ years professional experience in Competitive Intelligence

Experience in the business software and information services is a strong plus

Responsibilities

Support Market and Competitive Intelligence programs and initiatives, Industry & Competitive Trends

Identify market and customer issues and trends, track competitor launches and its impact on the market (weekly), Monthly, and Quartlery.

Track events that may affect potential sales. Sales Trends, Assist in identifying internal sell in/out trends activity by product category and by channel on a weekly basis.

Compile findings into actionable details for leadership review.

Formulate a plan and present it to senior management or a client

Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations

Gather and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it

Design specific research methods such as questionnaires

Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
