Position: System Test Engineers - C / Linux Location: Holmdel, NJ Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 + Excellent Benefits Job Description:This Client is a well-established company going through unprecedented growth having tripled revenues last year, will double that this year. Small work environment where you can be an individual contributor and part of a great team.This Client’s patented software platform is in very high demand by their strategic partners and customers and as a result, they are experiencing unprecedented growth. Their Linux application is developed using Scrum Agile methodology. Most development is done in C language; some Python is used. A variety of technologies are involved- data storage and archiving, Machine Learning based AI, Cyber Security, etc. As the company experiences this period of growth we are looking for talented individuals who are motivated by overcoming difficult technical challenges in a collaborative environment to join the team. Ideal candidates for these positions will have extensive experience writing and executing test plans in a small, dynamic environment. Responsibilities:Perform system testing of the software for Linux application and Java Graphical User Interface that is developed using the Scrum Agile methodology.Use Testopia for test case management, SVN for software configuration management, Bugzilla for defect management.Work as member of a Scrum team and understand requirements for the features being developed; write test plans for features.Generate data required for the test plans, integrate software models, execute tests and record results, fix bugs.Focus on delivering quality over schedule and release content.Support existing software.Work closely with support organization to resolve customer issues.QualificationsBS Computer Science or equivalent background.Experience with writing and performing tests.Knowledge of tools used for testing and management.Knowledge of Linux OS and C language. Python is a plus.Team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills, able to work in a small, collaborative environment with minimal supervision.Familiarity with Agile methods, especially Scrum, a plus.
