Pastoral Care Coordinator – Home and Community Services
- Permanent Full-time position, 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

- Based at Hunters Hill, servicing Northern Sydney Region
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our Home & Community Services team.
Home & Community Services (HCS) offers a range of home care services to meet the needs of people ageing who remain living independently in their own homes. These services can be funded through the Government’s Commonwealth Home Support Programme or Home Care Package. We also offer privately funded services.
As the HSC Pastoral Care Coordinator for the Northern Sydney Region, you will provide pastoral services to clients in their homes across the Northern Sydney region.
In addition to your caring, empathetic and personable nature, the right person will be sympathetic to Catholic Healthcare’s overall mission to promote life in all its fullness by providing aged, health and community services inspired by the Catholic tradition.
To be successful in the role you will require:
- Background & Qualifications in Pastoral Care or a willingness to obtain (Clinical Pastoral Education, Theology, or Spirituality)
- Previous pastoral experience in an aged care environment is highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate Catholic Healthcare’s values of compassion, honesty, hospitality, respect and excellence
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and active listening skills
- Exceptional planning skills and ability to complete computer based pastoral care plans and records for each client
- Highly independent and ability to work across a large geographical area within a multi-disciplinary team
