The Trust & Integrity Protection (TrIP) team has an immediate opening for a Senior Security Program Manager to help shape and implement Azure security controls across the Microsoft Commercial and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) organization. TrIP develops strategies, architects solutions, and executes programs that enable customer data protection including privacy, security, governance, risk, and compliance solutions, and provides guidance and oversight across the organization.The successful candidate will lead the integration of Azure security controls through collaboration with developers and service managers. He/she/they will drive Azure technology to meet the specific needs of MCAPS as we expand our collaboration with customers and partners globally. This technical role should be familiar with the full set of Azure capabilities and will establish partnerships with key stakeholders to enable a vast range of trusted experiences. Key to this role is the ability to leverage a risk-based mindset to highlight risks and impacts while working with multiple teams to achieve world class results.Our team values capable and active cross-team communication and collaboration, and proactive sharing of learnings and best practices to help make our whole team better. You will work with a team of collaborative security professionals who will value you as an individual and support your professional development.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement control standards for Azure based applications and services.

Design and develop the roadmap and priorities for Azure control mechanisms across large scale Azure tenants.

Collaborate with Operations and Service personnel to ensure deployment of the right security and privacy controls in Azure environments

Assess Tools and Technology for security control gaps or feature asks

Consult on Protective Measures once gaps are identified in the data protection process

Support exception management, risk mitigation & remediation with data protection and compliance-related gaps with Engineering and development teams

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:6+ years of combined technical risk management, information assurance, and/or application security work experience.

Demonstrated collaborative skills in the security or compliance profession

Understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as virtualization, encapsulation, federation, and infrastructure as code.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Security.

Ability to deploy and manage contemporary Azure security technologies, including Azure Security Center and Azure Active Directory.

Additional Qualifications:Ability to perform complex process and software reviews, interpret the results and articulate the findings in a clear and concise manner

Experience working on an application or service DevOps team is helpful

Working knowledge of and with:

Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, and Windows Defender

ADO (Azure DevOps) or internal service management systems

Familiarity of 1CS (One Compliance System) and/or other Microsoft centric compliance-related tools preferred

Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communications based on audience

Self-motivated with ability to work with little supervision
