Job Description
TITLE: Senior QA ManagerLOCATION: Edison, NJDURATION: 6-12 months project with a probable extensionJob Description:Our client is fast growing banking and financial services company seeking a Senior QA Lead who is highly motivated and hands-on Lead Quality Assurance Analyst. They will be guiding the 1st phase of end to end system and integration testing process to multiple applications within the banking environment.Required Skills:- Understand the applications' functionality, technology landscape and test coverage
- Participate in integration testing phase of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas
- Build relationships with software, system implementer teams and Business users to gain an understanding of application architectures and required functionality
- Schedule calls with PM/Business users to clarify any open items and publish limitations/risks throughout the Test planning phase.
- Understand the testing requirements for each release and publish QA Test plan/ strategy
- Review and execute functional/regression/integration/performance/ user acceptance test cases authored by the team
- Experience in API testing
- Support off-hours testing (If required)
- Track overall progress of execution of the engagement
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues with involved teams to drive towards root cause identifications and solutions
- Log defects in the defect tracking system
- Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA
- Publish daily/weekly/monthly status reports
