Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry in their Jersey City, NJ location. This is a 12 month + contract position. Description:
  • The requisition is to backfill the departure of a senior designer/architect of the Bloomberg Quartz FICC booking infrastructure and regulatory reporting including MiFid, Brexit, and SFTR
  • Mid-level experienced application developer and architecture to design, develop trading system application for Fixed Income Regulatory project
  • The candidate will work in an agile team for hands on development using Python, Java, XML and Sybase/Oracle technology
  • Candidate should have hands on design experience of trading system services related to regulatory project
  • Software development experience of at least 7 to 10 years
  • Experience of object-oriented database is desirable
  • Candidate should be pro-active, self-motivated and quick to learn new technology/business features
  • Very good understanding of fixed income products and trading/life-cycle management
  • Experience of MIFID II regulation as applicable to EMEA region is desirable. Python, Java, XML, OOP, Agile
  • The candidate will be working on strategic regulatory and quartz front to back initiatives
