- Provide thought-leadership, train, and consult with project teams on modeling best practices and methods appropriate to the specific project
- Drive current-state process modeling and future-state reimagination
- Define, track, and report on KPIs for the use cases
- Refine the operating model and governance for existing COE use-cases, and define and implement operating model for new use-cases
- Provide analytical and reporting capabilities to support decision making by the COEs stakeholders
- Identify and roll-out process modeling tool functionalities to support new or existing use cases
- Develop and maintain process modeling standards, process improvement methods, and best practices (e.g., BPMN 2.0, process metamodel, taxonomy, Lean / 6-sigma tools and method, etc.)
- Maintain the repository and data quality, including compliance with process modeling standards and frameworks, to ensure that the data is fit for its intended use
- Manage the process modeling tool user lifecycle (e.g., new user onboarding, functional support, training, etc.)
- Define, track, and report on KPIs for performance of the COE, and implement action plans to improve KPIs that are below target
- Act the main daily point of contact with IT and 3rd parties
- Document and provide business requirements to IT for the integration of the repository with authoritative sources of metadata
- Develop and deliver clear and concise, high quality presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership that provides the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience - experience in a similar process excellence COE desirable
- Bachelor's degree in analytical or quantitative field - Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in applying process improvement methodologies in process improvement / transformation project or initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, PDCA, etc.) - certification is a plus
- Experience with BPMN 2.0
- Self-starter with a strong ability to prioritize, own and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with the appropriate initiative-taking and problem-solving, even in ambiguous situations
- Excellent writing written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and process modeling tools (e.g., ARIS, Signavio, Mega HOPEX)
- Familiarity with business architecture frameworks and concepts highly desirable
- Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations preferred
