The ideal candidate for this position is a business architect with proven experience in process perfection and an understanding of the data landscape sufficient to both support business lines with data needs and to define and drive the implementation of data capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for driving business outcomes, such as efficiency, improved customer experience, and an enhanced control environment, through process development and optimization. To further develop and improve data management practices and capabilities you will 1) develop and promote the methods and frameworks; 2) define, implement, and continuously improve the operating models; 3) own some of the responsibilities defined in the operating model; and 4) join a multi-functional team in critical initiatives. Additionally, you will support the data strategy and data solutions to support DTCC's enterprise-wide data modernization, focused on re-imagination, reuse and resiliency. Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought-leadership, train, and advise project teams on data standard methodologies and methods appropriate to the specific project
  • Create and re-imagine business processes to drive efficiency and support optimization and enhanced control environment while adhering to data management standard methodologies and policies
  • Drive current-state data capabilities and future-state re-imagination of data capabilities
  • Support data solutions in collaboration with information technology
  • Define, supervise, and report on KPIs for identified use cases
  • Provide analytical and reporting capabilities to support decision making by the COEs partners
  • Collaborate with partners across the enterprise to capture and document required metadata related to critical and prioritized data elements in support of data management initiatives and enterprise-wide data modernization efforts
  • Support data quality through data profiling, defining and documenting data quality and data validation rules, performing root cause analysis for identified data quality issues, and supporting data cleansing efforts to ensure that data is fit for its intended use
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise, high quality presentations to partners and leadership that provide the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Deep expertise in the latest innovation, technology and solutions with regards to data
  • Solid understanding of data management processes and standard methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in analytical or quantitative field - Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Familiarity with analytical tools and statistical methods required for AI/ML
  • Self-starter with a solid ability to prioritize, own and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with the appropriate initiative-taking and problem-solving, even in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent writing written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and process modeling tools (e.g., ARIS, Signavio, Mega HOPEX)
  • Technical Skills preferred, such as ability to profile data using SQL queries; basic understanding of Logical Data Modeling and Database design is a plus Familiarity with business architecture frameworks and concepts highly desirable
  • Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations preferred
