Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ, Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and support of enterprise applications in the financial industry domain
Will be trained in the vendor product and build user defined functions in Java to build out functionalities requested by business that aren't available out of the box

Requirements:

5+ years' experience
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of SQL and ETL
5+ years strong Unix shell scripting
5+ years of DB Oracle/PL SQL
Demonstrated track record of developing high-quality enterprise applications using the latest tools and techniques available
Able to work independently with a high degree of self-discipline in a fast-paced agile environment, where strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired skills:

Prior experience with ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS
Jenkins or other CI system
AutoSys, Hadoop, Trifacta

Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
