The Junior Salesforce Developer role will be responsible for building features using Salesforce technologies, Python, Tableau and AWS. The Junior Salesforce Developer is comfortable communicating with business stakeholders, vendor teams, internal application teams and development teams. The successful candidate will have a minimum 1-3 years' relevant work experience in Financial Services writing code, working with stakeholders and writing/interpreting requirements. It is expected that the person in this role will continue to obtain additional Salesforce certifications and development training. Responsibilities:- Participate in technical design sessions to design solutions that are aligned with business objectives
- Delivery/development/unit testing of user stories leveraging the Salesforce platform
- Work towards being a credible subject matter expert to business and partners on the capabilities of Salesforce.
- Support development leads in delivering features aligned with business objectives
- Worth with business stakeholders to design innovative solutions
- Work with internal application teams to design and build APIs to meet business needs
- Either a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering program with a minor in Computer Science
- Ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
- Good understanding of Salesforce product suite. Including Salesforce1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Platform and the App Exchange
- Direct configuration experience using Salesforce point-and-click developer interface
- Awareness of programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform such as Apex
- Strong understanding in design and development of systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
- Development in at least one other Object-Oriented Language (e.g. Java, C#)
- Development with JavaScript
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Developer 1)
- Salesforce certifications (Advanced Developer, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
- Experience interacting with and developing APIs
- Knowledge of Financial Services industry and investment products
- Knowledge of insurance sales and support business processes
