JOB TITLE Kafka Developer CITY Remote STATE Remote (EST time only) TAX TERMS W2 EXPERIENCE 8+ Years INTERVIEW MODE Telephonic/Video JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Responsibilities: Work closely with clients to develop technology innovation plans and enhancements on a broad range of areas, including:

• Java Spring Boot Microservices
• Kafka Messaging and Streams
• Kafka Schemas and Registries
• Data integration processes
• Streaming application performance monitoring and optimization

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of experience delivering Kafka integrated applications
• 5+ years of experience generating and processing Kafka streams, handling deduplication of messages and streams, and idempotent processing
• 5+ years of experience in architecture of data serialization formats, schemas and schema registries
• Modern event driven application experience using Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka & Kafka Streams as the primary tech stack
• Producer / consumer configurations, and stream processing optimization based on key performance metrics
• Demonstrated knowledge of Kafka messaging and stream architecture as it relates to latency, throughput, scale
• Effective communication skills.

• 2+ years of experience with cloud architecture systems, such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Competency with source code management systems
• Location: NYC Metro area preferred with possibility of East Coast remote
• Competency with Office365
• Strong written communication skills.

• Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field
