- Experience of Network Operational Support within a large institution or bank
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network related issues
- Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels and to work in pressurised situations
- Solid understanding and experience of F5 load-balancing platforms, including integration with external services
- Good working knowledge of DNS / DHCP using Infoblox products
- Good working knowledge of Proxy related products, including integration with external services
- Good working knowledge of TCP, SSL and be able to fault find using tcpdump, Wireshark, log trace and live debug
- Working knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies / protocols (Cisco ACI, NX-OS, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF)
- Working knowledge of core networks, transport, internet and firewall platform
- Working knowledge of Enterprise management platforms such as Spectrum, SevOne, etc
- Expert knowledge of Load Balancing platforms - F5 or AVI / VMWare
- Working knowledge of scripting language (Python, Ansible)
- Experience of working within a large multi-site, multi-protocol LAN & WAN
