Overview The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Principal, Full-Stack Developer in Jersey City, NJ, to consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support . Requirements: Bachelor-s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: Utilizing GIT, Perforce and CVS Code repositories for build & release management of applications; Conducting Shell Scripting on Unix and Windows OS; Administering Authentication and Authorization on BigDog, Siteminder, LDAP, and Kerberos; Utilizing XML, JSON, XSLT, HTML, CSS, and JSPs to develop web-tier of applications; and Utilizing Concepts on Multi-Threading, MVC, UML, JNDI, Application Security, and Microservices. Four (4) years of experience must include: Utilizing Java-J2EE Technologies including Core Java, Servlets, EJBs, JMS, JMX, and JDBC to develop application-tier & database-tier of applications; Working on Webservices including RESTFUL and SOAP; Utilizing Hadoop, Apache Kafka, and Apache ZooKeeper, and Weblogic Application Server, including Tomcat, Maven, Apache Ivy, Docker Technologies, Cloud deployments, and Jenkins to manage and maintain deployment of applications across different environments; Using Caching concepts including Elastic Search and Hazelcast; Utilizing Docker virtualization for software packing and deployment; Using Python language for creation of Microservices having Flask based RESTful endpoints; Using iPython Notebooks for data analytics; and Utilizing tasked based workflows via Airflow and Luigi for task orchestration and scheduling.
