Business Process Analyst – 2 Roles Location: Fremont, CA ( Remote now)Type: 6 months contractThis critical Business Analyst role will be focused on driving continuous improvement across our entire supply chain and focused on our regional and central distribution facilities. You’ll be working on projects of diverse scope and complexity, related to improving every aspect of the order fulfillment and delivery experience for both internal and external customers. The right candidate will have a strong supply chain business foundation, experience gathering requirements and delivering technology projects to business teams and relevant experience with Supply Chain, DC operations and fulfillment, eCommerce and home delivery as well as demonstrate stellar communication skills. Responsibilities- Be a trusted business partner and peer to our regional and central distribution facility leaders to deliver recommendations that address business and process improvements.
- Partner with the Supply Chain Product team to effectively deliver projects and features and measure engagement/effectiveness of implementation through KPI’s and ROI
- Serve as a liaison between Operations and Product Management teams to ensure that the Business voice is heard loudly every day.
- Partner with SC Product to define opportunities across the DC operations, transportation, yard management, order fulfillment and in home furniture scheduling, routing, and delivery areas of the supply chain.
- Define specific requirements and scoping for potential initiatives and support the Product Management team in other activities including estimating business benefits and impact on the business.
- Partner with the broader Supply Chain Product team to develop roadmaps through deep business engagement and assessing opportunities using a hypothesis driven approach and focused on measurable, high impact outcomes.
- Support regional and central distribution facilities teams by being the subject matter expert, able to answer questions and make clear recommendations.
- Research market and industry trends and perform competitor product analysis in appropriate areas
- You have stellar communication skills and the skills to be a great business partner and influence others.
- Experience working with the supply chain areas of logistics and operations, merchandising systems, Order Management, inventory accounting, manufacturing, and care center operations.
- Ideally you have experience in multi-channel retail. Consulting background is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability experience to process map business functional processes and assess them for opportunities
- A proven ability to gather and catalog requirements as a jumping off point for developing business solutions
- Experience across multiple software delivery models including waterfall, agile, scrum and lean.
- You have a point of view on supply chain processes and can deliver value for the customer
- You care about the quality of your work and that is evident in all that you do.
