Job summary/scope:The Resource Management Organization (RMO) Digital Solutions Global Senior Project Manager will be part of the RMO Digital Solutions Program Management team.As an RMO Digital Solutions Global Senior Project Manager, the candidate is responsible for applying project management knowledge and tools for the facilitation of implementing strategic initiatives, programs and projects for the Resource Management Organization.This role will project manage all aspects of specific RMO programs. This includes working with the RMO Product Owners to develop the strategy and road map, prioritize and portfolio manage Use Cases, and track and report progress against all goals in alignment with Citi’s Project Management Council Standards. This person must have proven strategic project management, outstanding collaboration skills and demonstrated expertise in implementing transformation level programs. This role will work closely with the RMO Product Owners, and our Technology Partners to effectively drive successful completion of the RMO Book of Work for specific programs. Key responsibilities:Serve as a Global Senior Project Manager for the Resource Management Organization Digital Solutions team. Responsibilities and priorities will reflect needs of the specific projects and will evolve over time; however, the following are some of the specific activities expected of this role:· Manage a Portfolio of Projects/Use Cases which includes development of the business case, pipeline prioritization, tracking and reporting on progress against all financial and non-financial metrics· Work with the RMO Functional Leads, RMO Product Owners, RMO Global Process Owners, GFT Tech Partners and Stakeholders to identify solutions to manual touchpoints, straight through processing opportunities and platform improvements through Projects/Use cases, including new vendor solutions· Ensure all projects adhere to Citi Program Management Office standards and tools, utilizing PTS 2.0, with timely and appropriate artifacts to successfully drive delivery of the assigned portfolio and pass all Process Quality Assurance (PQA) audits· Facilitate and manage monthly Stakeholder meetings, weekly RMO project meetings and working sessions to support the assigned portfolio.- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible.
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
- Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
- Understanding product planning in an empirical environment.
- Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Understanding and practicing agility and Facilitating Scrum events.
- Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality Helping the Development Team to create high-value products.
- Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress.
- Coaching the Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood.
