- Bachelor’s in computer science or similar field
- 5+ years’ experience Quality Assurance
- Strong SQL skills - writing complex queries
- Programming experience with Java/J2EE
- Programming experience with Unix/Linux shell, HTML, JavaScript, Spring, Web Services a plus
- Experience with Jenkins, setup of jobs for automation execution a plus
- Experience with test automation using jUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, a plus
- Incorporate and streamline test automation into build CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
- Knowledge of Agile practices and ceremonies
- Work experience in brokerage platforms a plus
- Work experience in Prime Service, Capital Markets, or Securities Finance a plus
- Working with Cloud services a plus.
- Your ability to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs
- Solid technical background of solving problems and identifying root cause
- Able to quickly assess and become knowledgeable about subject matter/become the authority
- A reciprocal teammate who can work independently across local and distributed teams

- Constructing tests that find bugs
- Able to help squad find root causes
- Able to build sophisticated SQL queries to find data quality issues in databases

- Quickly learning the business processes, interdependent systems, and the data flow end-to-end.
- Crafting, developing, maintaining, and solving automated suites of tests to assess product quality and release readiness.
- Strong soft skills (communications, compassion, positive, motivating personality) to lead and mentor team members
